A complete self-hosted infrastructure on Proxmox

Git with CI, a database, single sign-on, secrets management, error and uptime monitoring and a mail relay, all on one machine I run every day.

  • Proxmox
  • Docker Compose
  • Cloudflare Tunnel
  • Gitea
  • Supabase
  • Authentik
  • Infisical
  • Uptime Kuma

The problem

A separate subscription for every development and operations tool adds up fast, and the data ends up spread across services you don't control.

What I built

  • One Proxmox host (Ryzen 5 5500, 31 GB RAM, GTX 1650) running 14 guests across LXC containers and VMs.
  • An infra VM with Gitea and CI, Supabase, Authentik for SSO, Infisical for secrets, GlitchTip for errors, Uptime Kuma for uptime, and a mail relay.
  • A Cloudflare tunnel for safe publishing without opening router ports, and Tailscale for private access.
  • A dedicated container for running AI models locally on the GPU.

Measured result

  • Every new project starts on the same tooling: a repo, secrets, error tracking, a database and an uptime monitor, with no extra subscriptions.
